Growing our Healthcare Logistics network to meet the needs of your customers
The flawless movement of healthcare products from manufacturing location to the people who need them is made possible by our global network of strategically positioned Air, Sea and Road Logistics locations working in tandem with our Contract Logistics fulfilment centres and last mile distribution. Our network spans over more than 270 locations worldwide, providing resilience against disruptions such as natural disasters, geopolitical events, and transportation delays, ensuring continuity of supply even in challenging circumstances.
We have recently expanded our Air Logistics operation at JFK in New York. Being close to air cargo terminals, this new expansion ensures swift movements of goods, thus reducing transit times. The new site boasts state-of-the-art facilities that have been designed to meet the highest industry standards, from advanced inventory management systems to temperature-controlled storage areas, including 1500 square feet of +2°C to +8°C space and 3000 square feet of +15°C to +25°C space, with a temperature-controlled dock.
Due to its central location, our temporary cross-dock and airfreight warehouse in San Juan, Puerto Rico, facilitates seamless connections between North America and Latin America, and beyond. At this location we have +2°C to +8°C or +15°C to +25°C temperature-controlled areas.
In Poland, at our Contract Logistics facility in Chorzów, which consists of 14,125 square meters of ISO 13485 certified space, with two +2°C to +8°C cold rooms, we recently extended our capacity to handle and distribute med-tech products. With good transport links from the port at Gdańsk, healthcare product arriving via sea freight can be seamlessly transported to locations in central Europe using our European Healthcare Fleet.
The Healthcare Road Logistics team in the US have just launched their first white-glove service to hospitals. This service has been designed for Healthcare customers with complex shipments, such as med-tech equipment, that require sensitive and on-time handling due to their size, value, and fragility.
Conclusion
As we continue to expand, geographically, the resilience of our network goes from strength to strength, ensuring that your healthcare products reach your customers and patients in the most efficient and reliable manner possible.
