FAQ

No matter the size, VinLog tailors solutions to match your business scope and requirements. We work with small and medium-sized wineries, importers, distributors and multinational brand owners.

Beverages can either be bottled and packed in crates or transported loose. You can ship beverages using standard 20‘ or 40‘, high cube (HC), open-top containers or reefer containers with temperature control. If shipping part loads, we arrange shared space in a multi-shipper consolidation container.

VinLog offers special services (thermoliners and insulation kits) for shipments that need to be dry or temperature-controlled. With our skilled experts handling your paperwork, you won’t have to worry about cross-border customs clearance.

From booking to delivery, our online portal, myKN, lets you track all of your transactions. All you need is your reference number to monitor your shipment.

As a “living product”, we move your beverages under the strictest temperature and humidity controls, avoiding shocks and vibrations that could impact product integrity. Your temperature-sensitive wines, spirits and drinks ship in reefer containers that ensure they always arrive with full flavour.

Roughly 9 to 11 pallets fit in a 20’ container; 21 to 25 pallets in a 40’ container.

The maximum load capacity varies by container type (20’ or 40’) and whether you ship by loose boxes vs palletised.

20’ container
•    Box loose packing = 13200 bottles 0,75l = 2200 cartons (6 bottles/carton)
•    Box palletised = 9600 bottles 0,75l = 1600 cartons (6 bottles/carton)
•    Box loose packing (reefer) = 12000 bottles 0,75l = 2000 cartons (6 bottles/carton)

40’ container
•    Box palletised = 18000 bottles 0,75l = 3000 cartons (6 bottles/carton)

45’ container
•    Box palletised = 19800 bottles 0,75l = 3300 cartons (6 bottles/carton)
